About Us
functionalcapacityassessment.com.au is an independent service that connects NDIS participants, families and support coordinators with occupational therapy and allied health practices that do functional capacity assessments (FCAs). It's free to use, and we're not a provider or part of the NDIS.
Why We Started
When the NDIA asks for evidence, or a plan reassessment is coming up, finding a practice that does FCAs, works with the right age group and can meet a deadline often means ringing around. We do that part. You tell us what the assessment is for once, and we pass it to a practice that may have space.
We also write plain-English guides to how FCAs work, from what's assessed to what it costs and what goes in the report. Every guide is checked against the NDIA's own pages and pricing, and links to them.
Who We Are
functionalcapacityassessment.com.au is run by a small team with a background in digital services and in working with NDIS providers.
How We're Paid
Practices pay us for introductions. That's what keeps the service free for you. It doesn't change the NDIS price limits practices can charge under NDIA-managed and plan-managed funding. More on how it works.
